The 4th edition of Happy Way took place from March 30th till April 1st, 2002, conducted by DOMINIQUE LEHERRE.
SATURDAY 30th MARCH 2002- 13.00 Reception of all participants at the village of Riqueval
- 14.30 Start of the guided tour of the underground canal of Riqueval, followed by a visit through its tugboat museum
- 16.30 Start of the afternoon drive
- 19.00 Arrival and check-in at the Mercure Hotel of Compiègne
- 20.00 Dinner in the restaurant of the hotel
SUNDAY 31th MARCH 2002- 08.00 Breakfast time
- 09.30 Start of the morning drive
- 11.00 Guided tour through thestronghold of Vic s/Aisnes Castle
- 11.45 Continuation of the morning drive
- 12.30 Lunch at the pavillion of thermal site "domaine des Thermes" at Pierrefonds
- 14.30 Start of the afternoon drive
- 16.00 Visit to the Picardie resistance museum at Fargniers
- 17.30 Coninuation of the afternoon drive
- 19.00 Return to the Mercure hotel of Compiègne
- 20h00 Dinner and distribution of the prizes at the hotel
MONDAY 1st APRIL 2002- 09.00 Breakfast
- 10.20 Short drive to Compiègne Castle
- 10.45 Guided tour of the imperial suites of Napoléon III in Compiègne Castle
- 12.30 Lunch at the restaurant of the Mercure Hotel
- 14.30 End of festivities...
