The 5th edition of Happy Way took place from 10 till 12 April 2004, conducted by DOMINIQUE LEHERRE.
SATURDAY 10th APRIL 2004
- 13.00 Initial gathering of all participants at the halting-place/parking-place on the N29-E44 towards the village of Mortemer
- 14.00 The throwing off of the rally
- 16.30 Guided tour of Mortemer Abbey and free access to the park
- 18.30 Continuation of the afternoon tour
- 19.30 Arrival and check-inn of all participants at the hotel St Aubin at Gournay-en-Bray
- 20.30 Dinner at the hotel St Aubin
SUNDAY 11th APRIL 2004
- 09.30 Start of the morning drive
- 10.30 Visit to Martainville Castle and its Norman furniture museum
- 12.00 Continuation of the morning drive
- 13.00 Luncheon at restaurant du cheval noir (Black Horse Inn ;-) in Clères
- 14.30 Start of the afternoon tour
- 15.00 Visit of the French national fire brigade museum at Montville
- 16.00 Continuation of the afternoon tour
- 17.00 Free access to the V1 launching site of Val Ygot
- 18.00 Continuation of the afternoon tour
- 19.30 Arrival at the hotel St Aubin at Gournay
- 20.30 Dinner at the hotel St Aubin followed by the prize-giving ceremony
MONDAY 12th APRIL 2004
- 10.00 Start of the drive Brémontier-Merval Castle
- 10.30 Guided tour through a part of the castle, its cider distillery and a tasting of regional products
- 12.30 Return to the hotel St Aubin at Gournay
- 13.00 Luncheon at the hotel’s restauran
- 14.30 End of the festivities...
